The University of the South Pacific (USP) students with Youngsolwara Pacific hosted a prayer vigil
for our West Papuans Victims from August 17th to 30th.
A. Victims Killed (Age & Description): 1. Alpius Pigay 20 Shot dead in the yard of the Regent’s Office 2. Abian Kotouki First Chair of the West Papuan National Committee (Komite Nasional Papua Barat, KNPB), Deiyai Regency. Died from gunshot wounds. 3. Derikson Adii 21 Shot dead in the yard of the Regent’s Office 4. Hans Ukago 27 Shot dead in the yard of the Regent’s Office, his body was recovered but he could not be resuscitated. Died at Mugouda from loss of blood. 5. Marinus Ikomou 28 Shot dead in the yard of the Regent’s Office, then ran off, dying at Jaba. 6. Pilemon Waine 26 Shot dead in the yard of the Regent’s Office and died at the scene. 7. Aminadap Kotouki 24 Shot dead in the yard of the Regent’s Office 8. Seorang Bermarga – 9. Yul Magai - 18 years old 10. Yulius Takimai - 24 years 11. Yemi Douw - 29 years 12. Ginobinok Tabuni - 60 years old 13. Minangge Wakerkwa - 60 years old

Yusti Agapa 17 Shot in right thigh, bullet passed out the other side. Seriously wounded 4. Apilin Mote 32 Shot in lower right buttock, bullet passed through. Seriously wounded 5. Naomi Pigome 28 Hit by teargas, suffered dizziness, wounded on left calf. Lightly wound. 6. Felex Agapa 26 Shot on left calf, lightly wounded. 7. Karek Kotouki 64 Shot on right calf, lightly wounded. 8. Yeni Douw 25 Shot in stomach. Heavy wound – critical condition 9. Felex Douw 23 Shot in the chest. Heavy wound – critical condition 10. Andreas Douw 22 Shot under the armpit. Heavy wound – critical condition 11. Irarius Douw 25 Shot and lightly wounded 12. Frengki pekei 24 Shot in right leg while at the Deiyai Regent’s Waghete office complex
