Defer the Referendum 2021
Despite calls by Kanaky to defer the 3rd referendum vote, France has ignored concerns by the people of Kanaky and are pushing ahead for the vote this Sunday 12th December, 2021. Join us for a global demonstration from the 8th - 12th December, calling on France to defer the referendum vote. Youngsolwara demands a fair, transparent, peaceful, and credible referendum in 2022.
On October 4, 2020 New Caledonia held a referendum for Kanaky Self Determination. Our Youngsolwara campaign encouraged Kanaky youth to vote and to let their voices be heard.
