Defenders of Self-Determination Exhibition
An art exhibition was held 13 July, 2016 at the Fiji Museum in Suva by the Youngsolwara activist group to highlight the plight of West Papua.
Youngsolwara spokesperson Vuetasau Buatoka Jnr said the event was held to encourage the Pacific region to support West Papua’s bid for full membership at the Melanesian Spearhead Group meeting this week. Paintings and poems were shared on the theme “Defenders of Self-determination”
